It happened a little after 9:15 p.m. when officers found an unidentified man, between 50-60 years old, on the train tracks on Galveston Road near the Gulf Freeway.
Residents reported that the man usually hangs out on the tracks.
However, it’s unclear if the man was sitting on the tracks when the train hit him and dragged him about 300 feet.
